I know him. (in fact I was the one who originally posted this pic to tumblr way back when, although this is newer thread.) His name is Juel Lane, and this photo is from a production by LIFT, which is an Atlanta-based dance company that consists of men of color. It would be nice if this info could remain with the pic; he’s an amazing and very accomplished dancer (he formerly danced with Ron K. Brown/Evidence) and if you like the picture, maybe you can find a way to support the company (their facebook page is here). it’s hard out here for working artists.
